I am so lucky to be part of sunday science school.
It was the best experience I had till now.
Because of this course , now I am able to find fun and curiosity while doing practical work in college.
Now I am doing my BS-MS course at IISER Mohali (1st year) . And I wanted to be here because I like research field. Sunday Science School is one of the reason that I like this science field.
You inspired me alot during high school and you increased my curiosity towards Science.

In our day to day life, we use the many appliances to make our life comfortable but I always had curiosity to know how they things working. I use to dismantle the appliances to know their working. Then I came to know about Sunday Science School (SSS) from newspaper. It was the first batch of SSS. SSS was going to have an orientation presentation for the students and their parents who wanted to know about it and are willing to join it. I was unable to be present for presentation but my parents attended it. Afterwards when they told me about it, I was just excited to join it.

I joined the SSS, the experience was amazing. It was something what was meant for me. I not only got to make my own working prototypes models but also understood the working principles behind them. At that time SSS had two level of programs – basic and advanced. I was part of both the programs. I learned about variety of basic things like wind mill, DC motor, Solar cells, etc. And also the complex things automatic water level indicator, fire alarm, water turbine, etc. The SSS helped me increase my interest in science. During my SSS period and after that also, I continued to conduct my own experiments based on the knowledge gained.

Now presently, I am pursuing my graduation education (BS-MS) in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune (IISER-P) where I continue to explore the science by conducting my own experiments.
